BERLIN — Munich-based distrib SquareOne Entertainment, which is celebrating its recent box-office success with “StreetDance 3D,” has picked up a slew of new titles, including Roger Donaldson’s upcoming conspiracy thriller “Hungry Rabbit Jumps,” starring Nicolas Cage and Guy Pearce.
Continuing its partnership with the RTL-owned distrib Universum, SquareOne will next release Pascal Chaumeil’s French romantic comedy “Heartbreaker,” starring Vanessa Paradis and Romain Duris. Pic opens in German and Austrian theaters on Jan. 6.

The company also nabbed John Stockwell’s shark thriller “Dark Tide,” with Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez, as well as a bundle of European productions, including Jason Statham actioner “Blitz”; Jonathan English’s medieval yarn “Ironclad,” which stars James Purefoy as the leader of the Knights Templar and Paul Giamatti as King John; and Eugenio Mira’s Spanish thriller “Agnosia,” starring Eduardo Noriega and Germany’s Martina Gedeck.

SquareOne and Universum jointly released “StreetDance” in June and the pic has since taken in more than $6.5 million in Germany.
